EAST HAVEN LAND TRUST , INC.

This is an inland wetlands property located in the Momauguin section of town, not too far from the coastline.  Similar to coastal wetlands, inland wetlands help provide breeding, nesting, and feeding habitat for a variety of waterfowl.  Within neighborhoods, wetlands help prevent flooding by temporarily storing water; allowing it to either soak into the ground or evaporate.
